Buy SOCOM 4, get early access to Resistance 3 Beta

Sony is on the ball once again when it comes to cross-promotion within their shooting games.  It all started back with Killzone 3.  Buyers of the early batches got a code within for the SOCOM 4 beta.  This code was claimed as "early access."  Only problem was that the code only worked during the 3rd phase out of 4 phases of the beta.  It wasn't really "early."

My guess is as good as yours.  I believe this code will NOT be the first phase.  First phase would probably go to private/closed testers who are posters on the forums.  Second phase will then go out to PS Plus members as they pay for that right.  Who knows who gets it next?  Hopefully they don't get left in the dust.

Resistance 3 is out September 6, 2011!  Should be a great game by Insomniac.
