The NGP

The NGP is among us!  For those who are as slow as I am in writing about this, the NGP is the Next Generation Portable, and it's the successor to the PlayStation Portable.  I'm positive the final name will not be NGP, it's probably just a codename like how Arc was for Move.

Anyways, looking at it there isn't much difference from the standard  PSP-3000.  Other than...the amazing addition of two fully working analog sticks!  Can we say "SOCOM" on NGP?  I loved Tactical Strike and Fireteam Bravo but the controls turned me off.  This is a surefire way at getting me back into portable gaming.  Portable gaming for me died with the Gameboy Advance so here's hoping for it to be revived.

Another new addition to the NGP is the Sixaxis controls brought from the PS3.  There will also be two cameras, a front and rear.  They even added in two touch screens: one on the front screen and one on the back for your fingers to hold to and slide.  A built-in mic is also added for in-game chat and maybe for the Skype coming back.

Some games shown on the NGP already are Resistance, Killzone, and even Uncharted!  The graphics are gorgeous and I hope to get my hands on this badboy.
